It would be nice if they'd make some tools available to enable an easy transfer from a development environment to a live site. Still, shouldn't grumble give that its a great bit of software that's cost me absolutely nothing so far! Even moving an installation between different domains on the same dedicated server can prove a bit of a challenge. I would definitely recommend installing a fresh copy of Magento at the destination URL, and simply overwrite the theme folders which can be found in app and skin directories!
